Bring the power of Flowpoint to your Framer project

Flowpoint’s Framer plugin enables you to access Flowpoint functionality directly within your Framer project.

The Framer plugin currently supports Inspector, with more functionality coming soon. You can also use the Framer plugin to add the Flowpoint code to your Framer project with one click.

The latest version of Flowpoint’s Framer plugin is available in the Framer Marketplace.

Inspector

Inspector enables you to review your website pages for optimization opportunities.

Currently Available Tests

  • Accessibility: Check website pages for common accessibility issues such as color contrast, descriptive links, and alt tags for images.

  • Content: Review content for spelling errors, grammar suggestions, and general improvements to tone and readability.

  • Performance: Audit website pages for common technical issues such as page load time, content paints, and layout shifts

  • SEO: Check website pages for SEO fundamentals like properly-formatted metadata, Open Graph tags, and Google Rich Results support.

  • UX: Check website pages for common UX issues such as layout, CTA arrangement, and asset sizing

Depending on the size and complexity of your website page, Inspector can take several minutes to perform its tests. Progress is displayed in the plugin interface. You can safely close the plugin and return to it at a later time to view results. You will also receive an email notification whenever a page inspection finishes.

No Concurrent Page Inspections

At this time, the Framer plugin only supports running an inspection on one page at a time within a workspace. In the event that a page inspection is already running, the Framer plugin will display an alert.

Desktop vs. Phone Experiences

Inspector includes a device toggle for desktop and phone devices. This allows you to view device-specific test results. In some cases, you may see different results for different devices.

Inspection Credits

Page inspections function on a credits-based system. Each page inspection consumed one credit. In cases where a page inspection results in one or more failed tests, no credits are consumed.

Inspection is a Pro plan feature and is not available on the Free or Basic plans. The Pro plan includes a set number of monthly Inspector credits, but you can purchase additional credits using add-ons.

Monitoring Credits Usage

You can monitor your Inspector credits usage from the main menu of the Framer plugin. Simply select the Account option to view your current credits consumption.

One-Click Installation

Using the Framer plugin, you can add the Flowpoint code to your Framer project with just one click. Once the plugin is installed and you’ve logged-in, click the ‘Install’ option and then select Add Code. The Flowpoint code for the signed-in workspace is then automatically added to your project. The Flowpoint code can be removed by following the same steps.

To confirm that the Flowpoint code has been added to your Framer project, navigate to your project’s Site Settings and scroll to the Custom Plugin Code section. There, you will see an entry for your workspace’s Flowpoint code.

Handling a Code Mismatch

In rare cases, you may add the Flowpoint code for one workspace and then sign in to the Framer plugin using credentials for a separate workspace. When this happens, the Framer plugin will display a warning prompting you to add the appropriate Flowpoint code to your project.
